Optos Ultra-widefield (UWF™) Retinal Imaging
Optos ultra-widefield retinal imaging captures a detailed image of the retina in less than a second. The image allows our doctors to examine and document areas of the retina that may be difficult to view with traditional imaging alone. It also gives us a valuable baseline for monitoring changes at future visits. Optos technology can capture up to 200 degrees of the retina in a single image.
Traditional dilation may still be recommended when medically necessary or when the doctor needs a more detailed examination.
Vision Insurance and Affordable Self-Pay Exams
We accept many major insurance plans, including VSP, EyeMed, Davis Vision, Spectera, and Medicaid (Passport & Avesis).
